PRODUCT CARE
Jewelry requires special care when wearing, storing, or cleaning. Here are some Do's and Don'ts that will help eliminate damage or discoloration of your jewelry:
Don't wear fine jewelry when doing housework, swimming, showering, doing dishes or gardening.
Majority of my jewelry is made from glass which can be cleaned by wiping with a damp clean cloth. To clean tarnished silver used in the findings of my jewelry, try this:
One tablespoon baking soda mixed with One quart of boiling water.
Mix the boiling water and baking soda together into a GLASS dish with aluminum foil (shiny side up) placed on the bottom. Place your pieces into the mixture-they must touch the foil to work. If it is stubborn tarnish you can use a soft toothbrush and gently brush the surface taking care not to scratch the finish. Rinse well with clean water. Pat dry with a cloth, trying to remove as much moisture as possible. The best solution for cleaning silver is a treated cloth. Click here to purchase.
Another option for cleaning jewelry is a Jewelry cleaner, they are now available to the general public at a very reasonable cost. http://www.thesourcecc.com/estore/SearchResults.aspx?language=en-CA&keywords=jewelry+cleaner&pagenum=0
Don't heap your jewelry into one drawer as one piece can scratch another. Keep them separate and ideally wrapped individually in the zip lock bag provided, paper or a silk or organza bag.
Be aware that our jewelry is made from glass, and although our beads are very durable, dropping or hitting it on hard surfaces may induce breakage.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Are my online purchases secured?
Yes, your online purchases through my website are secure. Why is it safe and secure? My shopping cart system is run by a company called CCNow .
CCNow is owned by Digital River, Inc. (NASDAQ:DRIV), the world's foremost e-commerce expert, servicing companies such as mine. CCNow does not share your credit card information with anyone, not even me, the supplier of the product that you are purchasing. Your personal information is processed on CCNow's state-of-the-art e-commerce system, so you can shop with confidence and peace of mind. Since CCNow is an online retailer, consumer credit card information remains on CCNow's secure online payment system. That means you are completely protected from identity theft risk.
Do you accept payment by cheque or money order?
Yes, I accept both means of payment, for those who are not comfortable with using a credit card online. However please keep in mind that your order will not be shipped out until the cheque or money order have cleared resulting in a delay of several weeks in shipping of your order.
How do I know what size to order?
Bracelet size is determined by measuring your wrist, adding ¾” -1” to the final measurement will give you a comfortable fitting bracelet. If your purchase is a gift and you are unable to obtain a measurement keep in mind that the average wrist is a 7.5. Also I offer resizing of bracelets a no charge to you. Only what it cost you in the shipping to return it to me. All items must be packaged appropriately for shipping.
How long before I receive my order once it has been placed online.
Because I hand make each glass bead, it takes at least two days minimum to make the beads. Beads are made same or next day upon receipt of your order. The beads are then annealed overnight in a kiln. The next day the bracelet or item is then created and your order is processed. This time frame could change depending on the amount of orders ahead of you. Time frame for you receiving your order also depends on your choice of shipping.
Do you accept Custom Orders?
All bracelets can be changed as far as color or color combination, and sometimes minor alterations. I do now offer recreation of limited designs or recreation of a set of beads from off of my Ebay listings. However I charge a $5-$10 custom order fee over and above the last winning bid depending on the set of choice.
What is Lampwork?
Lampwork or Flamework is a process of wrapping hot molten glass around a mandrel. Layers of colored glass result in every bead being unique and original. Paint is not used to create the design on the beads. All the colors or designs in my beads are made with layers of colored glass. The beads are then kiln annealed for durability and enhancement of colors and long-lasting beauty.
Glass starts out in the shape of rods which have been hand pulled. Most glass rods are made in Italy, Germany but also in the US. The glass rods are available in a variety of colors as well as special reactive glass which changes color depending on the amount of oxygen or propane used. The process of making a bead starts out with the melting of the end of a glass rod over a hot torch, then winding the molten glass onto a mandrel. Designs are made with the application of frit, stringers or layers of glass.
Once the shaping and design of the bead is finished, it is placed into a kiln, to soak in a high temperature heat to enhance the color, to relieve all the possible stress inside and to prevent bead from cracking. When cooled down, the beads are taken off the mandrels and cleaned.
Are your products available in a store?
No, my products are only available through this website. Each bracelet is original and unique, not found anywhere else. All jewelry and glass beads on this site are created with our own hands, not massed produced or imported. We are self representing artists. However if you are interested in my Designer glass beads to create your own jewelry or for collecting, you can find my work on ebay: My Ebay beads change on a daily basis as it is on the auction system with new beads being featured daily. If you want to create your own awarness bracelets with my beads, you can also purchase my beads seperately from my Etsy store: MyEtsy again, a limited amount of beads are available for purchase and items available changes daily. So check in daily if you are interested.
Do you have a catalogue?
My website is my catalogue. Please check back for new additions or specials and sales. I try to keep this website updated but it is difficult when items are purchased daily and I only have so much time available. It is my goal to be more on top of it and strive to do a better job of keeping things updated.
